Hudson + Poll SCM - Recreate Mining Projects First?

We have a bunch of maven2 projects in Hudson, and they are all set up to poll SCM at the same time.

The problem is that there seems to be no order in how he polls and builds projects. Ideally, this will first check upstream projects. I could set up an SCM survey schedule for this, but this seems unacceptable as more projects are added.

Right now, sometimes he first checks the downstream project "X", finds the changes and builds with an error. Then, when the “Y” project is upstream checked / built, it invokes the assembly of the X project, which is successful. Create some meaningless error notifications.

In the "Advanced project settings" section, check the box "Block assembly when building an upstream project"

Starting with version 1.323, there is an extended option for building the maven-when-upstream-building block. Maybe this can be useful?
