Is there a tool similar to FlashDevelop for Ubuntu?

There is no better free tool than FlashDevelop for developing Flash / ActionScript packages on Windows .

Unfortunately, its dependence on the .Net structure makes it unsuitable for developing AS3 on Ubuntu. (My attempts to get it to work with Mono failed - the installer didn't even work.)

Is there a similar tool to use with Ubuntu?
