Windows XP has a feature that swaps the keyboard layout if you press a key combination (default + left + shift). Since it seems to be reassigned for each application, you might think that this is a problem with Eclipse, as it will not affect another application. This feature is especially important for Eclipse, as some useful key bindings can use alt + shift + something, and if you don’t press any part, your keyboard layout will switch.
To disable, open the Text Services and Input Languages dialog box (the easiest way is to right-click the taskbar, select Toolbars> Language Bar, then right-click the Language Bar icon and select "Settings ...")
