I am working on a site in Joomla! and on the home page, at the top of the article, it contains the h1 name of the website. Source reports (note that this is not the title of the article.)
Any idea how to get rid of it?
Thanks Stef
You can set this h1 tag not to be displayed through the "Settings - System" section of the "Menu Manager" screen in the administrator ... this page has a nice description of the steps.
It is so simple
Just follow these steps:
Log in to the Joomla admin interface
Go to Menu Manager
Choose your menu
( )
"" ( "" ) → " " → " ".
.
, ( ) / ( ), ( SEO ).
, CMS PHP Code. , , ( ) , - Javascript ( JQuery).
jQuery(document).ready( function($) { $(‘.componentheading’).empty(); });
JS JQuery. , . , . , . , ...
, , , , , , , .
Using javascript to remove is not a good idea. 1. It will only work for browsers with javascript enabled 2. Search bots will still see this. Since the component title for articles is “articles” by default, it will see all your pages with the same h1 tag.
Just turn it off in the menu item and enter the name of the browser in the text box above.
