Does Oracle support support events?

Question

MySQL supports events where I can configure something that will happen over a period of time

For example: update salary every month

For example: update something every year

For example: change the status of the book to "overdue" in a week

Etc etc.

How to do it in Oracle?

You can use DBMS_SCHEDULERto execute scheduled events.
