RhinoMocks - Mocking Protected Virtual Members

As far as I know, RM should mock what a derived class can access. Since the protected virtual member is accessible from a subclass, should it not be brushed aside?

I understand that RM does not support mocking protected virtual members.

If I want to mock a protected member, I usually skip Rhino Mocks and simply subclass it with my own fake implementation.

As far as I know, RM should make fun of everything that a derived class can appeal to.
