Is there a solution to solve this problem? It works great with ruby script / delayed_job run.

The error tells you that the Daemons gem used by the Delayed Job does not work on Windows because Windows does not have an API fork( fork- a UNIX / Linux system call). You need to switch to a Windows-compatible background processing library, or switch to Linux or Mac OS X to develop Rails.

Instead, rake jobs:workyou can run it manually in a separate prompt:ruby script/delayed_job

, script .
