Can TextMate easily define a function or class definition?

Question

I use TextMate in a Ruby on Rails project and wonder if you can place the mouse in link_to and then press a key and it will show the definition of link_to, or will it do for any other helper functions or model definitions?

Or, open a window and enter a function name and it will show you the definition?

• Make sure you are in the file with the language grammar installed by either Ruby or RoR (check by checking the “L” field in the TM status bar)

• Then highlight the name of the function, (for example, with your cursor in front of the first letter of this function: shift-option-right arrow)

• Ctrl-H : "Ruby: "" RoR View Demo Help", , "1" "2"

• "1" Ruby
