Question

I was asked to choose between Web Forms and MVC for a small internal company project. I do not know MVC. How much MVC should I know in order to be able to make a decision?

Note: 1. I read MVC to the extent that I know the high-level design options that I will need to do, however, as a developer, I don’t feel comfortable if I don’t have the code in it ...

Another question: how can I do this without knowing what mvc is capable of (for example, I was told that the datagrid control cannot be used as it is used in web forms). I'm sure there is a way to figure this out - stackoverflow was created by Jeff when he was learning MVC :)

If this is a minor project, then I almost see no shortage of learning MVC and great growth.

When I started learning MVC, I used it for a test project to host the silverlight application I was working on, as well as a small REST-like service.

I found that I work literally for several hours.

Keyword "minor". Do you want to turn a minor project into a long learning process or do it and go on to something else?

Or is this a good opportunity to feel the platform where the rates are lower?
