I don’t know if I can really get the answer to this question, but it really annoys me, and I would like to know if anyone has an idea how to get the answer.
I have a pretty big solution in VS 2008 that maybe every week / every week, when I click properties to get to the project properties, the IDE closes without warning. After that, EVERY will close when I try to view the properties. At this point, I am trying to delete the .suo file, I am resizing the IDE, closing the tabs inside the project, restoring the default VS settings (when I am desperate). In the end, after 20-30 minutes, I can view the properties. I did not understand what exactly this corrects, it seems, each time in a different way. Once it is “fixed”, I cannot break it again, so I can find out that I “fixed” it.
This is similar to a specific project, because I can view the properties of other projects, while this project behaves badly.
I guess my first question is why does VS cause reasons for an unexpected close? May I find out what is the reason for this? The main disappointment - I do not know the reason, nor the treatment.
Any ideas?
UPDATE:
The solution is a WPF application with 3 library projects added.
I have the following add-ons:
- Test Driven.NET 2.22.2468
- Xaml PowerToys
I can turn them off and then see if he continues to do this. But, as before, it is not just tested, because it does not work by accident.
I use the properties tab quite a lot because we use Click Once deploy, and I go to the properties tab to publish the latest build.
