Getting all style properties using jQuery. Basically, I want to get the equivalent of getComputedStyle (), and I don't want to handle cross-browser stuff

I would like to get the currentStyle / computedStyle object, and I don't want to manually check the browser type. (I wanted to get rid of cross-browser processing, so I came to jQuery). Actually, I want the style object to return the entire style-property: value map. Please, help.

Well, is there a soul for a similar problem suggested by Keith Bentrup : a jQuery CSS plugin that returns a computed style element for pseudo-cloning this element?
