I am trying to improve the performance of my game on iphone. In most cases, I load all the textures immediately before rendering the current frame. This makes a big leap in frame rate. Has anyone tried loading a texture into a secondary stream or something like that?
Is there any specific reason why you load the textures youre before each frame, and not once for the whole scene?
