How to improve scroll performance of UIWebView?

Question

It seems very difficult to improve the performance of UIWebView, especially for sites like Mashable or Ars Technica, which have loads of scripts and long articles with multiple pages.

I know 3 similar questions, but they both have no working solution:

• UIWebView scrolls jerkily - private API calls are offered, such as -(void)_setDrawInWebThread:(BOOL)arg1and -(void)_setDrawsCheckededPattern:(BOOL)arg1, and we know that they are not allowed in App Store applications
• How to quickly, smoothly scroll using UIWebView? - Someone was talking about CATiledLayer, but there was no clear guide on how to implement this.
• Implementing a CATiledLayer in a UIWebView for quick scrolling - Brad Larson said that "there is no way to manually return a UIWebView with a CATiledLayer because of its complex rendering architecture."

I wonder if there are any solutions to this problem. Any suggestions are welcome.

I'm afraid not. Larger sites remain large and therefore consume a lot of memory.
