Cassandra Replication System - How It Works

  • Is Cassandra replicated only to the recording procedure (with a selected level of consistency)? Is there an automatic replication option for missing nodes if I want symmetric data in each node?

  • If I connect a new node to the cluster, there is no automatic replication. How to synchronize data from other nodes with a new one?
