Microsoft Visual Studio Professional Licensing

We plan to purchase Visual Studio Professional 2008 Edition to create some of our own software products for ourselves. We have 3 developers working on this software. Question:

Can we distribute the application (exe only) throughout the office?

What are the limitations? if they are.

I looked at the documentation provided by MS, but for me it was hard to digest, or I did not get a direct answer. Any help appreciated.

If you do not need additional features, you can use the Free Express Edition. It can also be used for production.
