Is part of CURL the original PHP installation?

When I first installed PHP, did it include libraries for cURL?

To check if your version of PHP supports cURL support, create a php file:

<?php phpinfo(); ?>

If you open this file in your browser, it will print all the information about your php installation, including the inclusion of cURL.

Look at the line that includes cURL support under the cursor.
