Where does IValueConverter.Convert return the CultureInfo parameter?

I look at silverlight applications and look at date formatting to make sure the presentation is suitable for the viewer.

with an implementation IValueConverter, where Convert/ConvertBackdoes the culture parameter enter the function ? It seems to me that this is not what I want.

Since this is for your user interfaces, WPF uses CultureInfo.CurrentUICulture , not CurrentCulture.
