The installer cannot uninstall the previous version.

I use the installation and deployment of visual studio to install my components of my application. This works successfully with other applications and allows the current version to be installed on top of previous versions, as a rule, it means simply setting the property in the installation project, namely RemovePreviousVersions, and setting it to true.

In this case, the Windows service is installed, and when I try to install the latest version, I get the message "The specified service already exists." I tried to stop the service before installing.

Is there an easy way to solve this problem?

You will have to manually remove the service and then install it again.
