Crystal report based on groups Summary on report footer

Question

Hi

Can I display a group summary in the footer of a report? Let me explain the scenario. I have to create the following report:

Client Amount Currency 

Customer 123:

WWWW 300 SGD
XXXX 400 SGD
YYYY 200 USD
ZZZZ 300 USD


Customer 456:

W1W1 300 SGD
X1X1 400 SGD
Y1Y1 200 USD
Z1Z1 300 USD

.
.
.
.
.

In the report footer, I need to show the following:

Grand total: USD 1000
Grand total: SGD 1400

You must display the total amount in currency in the footer of the report. Is it possible to do this in a Crystal report? I am using the crystal version of report 11. Can someone suggest me a solution?

Here is one way to do this:

• Create two formulas; return the value of the amount depending on the type of currency.

  iif (Currency = "SGD", Amount, 0)

  iif (Currency = "USD", Amount, 0)

• Create a resume based on the above formula using sum
