How can I check how my websites display on Mobile Safari without buying an iPhone?

All the “emulators” that I found through google are just a skin on top of the Safari desktop or using the default browser on the OS :( I borrowed my iPhone friends and noticed that CSS for a pure CSS drop-down menu doesn’t work, t is correct, and you cannot click the links, but it displays correctly on the Safari desktop and in any other browser, even Internet Explorer 6 and 7. In other words, the site cannot be verified on the iPhone. How can I check the rendering mechanism of Safari Mobile without buying an iPhone ?

edit: Ok, there seems to be an iPhone simulator for Mac. I just look to see if the OSX image will work with two downloads on the other hard drive of my laptop if I don't understand the iPod Touch I use, although I generally neglect the presence of extra peripherals.

Either use a Mac and launch iPhone Simulator, or get an old iPod touch, which is not that expensive.

If it depends on a rollover of any type, I think you have discovered the problem.

Is buying a mac mini within your budget? Then you can load the emulator into Xcode.
