Saving the selection changed the behavior of the Word bookmark in XML format

Question

I'm trying to build a Word application using VSTO, which, among other things, will contain bookmarks that, when clicked, display information in the user task pane.

I would like to be able to export this document to XML, but if you just save it in this format, the pop-up behavior will be lost. I intend to write "export to XML" functionality, but I wonder if this click-to-save behavior can be saved in XML format.

I already tried browsing other sites, but I got a little lost and hoped that someone here could help.
