Blackberry SDK: Read SMS Folders

Can I read all sent / received SMS (and possibly even MMS) in the BlackBerry app?

Even if it is 5.0+ only ... I need it!

No, you can listen to incoming SMS messages, but you cannot read those that already exist. You can listen to all the messages and then save them somewhere, but this is hardly the perfect solution. Here is some information on listening to messages.
