Setting two-dimensional curves in a matrix

There is a toolkit function for the cftool curve fitting toolkit, which allows you to map curves to 1 data. Is there anything for two-dimensional data?

Jerry suggested two very good options. There are other options if you want a more formulaic form for the model.

The curve toolbar in the current version allows you to snap surfaces to data, not just curves.

Or install a 2-dimensional polynomial model using a tool such as polyfitn .
