How to call that starts with * in iPhone?

In my application, I want to call * 111 when I use this tel: * 111 URL to call, but I cannot succeed in the call, please give me some directions, thank you very much.

does not work. but it will work on uninstall *:

[[UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:@"tel:111"];
