I am interested to see what people store in my session and cookies when I visit websites. Is there any way to see what is in between the request and when I am on the pages in Safari, Chrome or Firefox?

In Firefox, you can use Firebug , among others , to check whether cookies are sent back and forth. Check the Network panel for complete request and response headers. Cookies are present as the response header Set-Cookiewhenever the session starts, and as the Cookierequest header for all subsequent requests in the same session.
