We are having a problem with a server session associated with the expiration of the Flex client opening when the browse dialog opens for a longer time than the configured session timeout. It seems that on some players, playback stops when you search or upload to FileReference. This also blocks remote calls, and therefore our manual save messages are not sent to the server, which results in a session timeout.
I looked for some information about this in the docs and found a notice about it, but the players that it does (not) are not explicitly indicated in it. Does anyone know if I could find a complete list?
PS: here are the links that mention this behavior:
During calls to FileReference.browse (), FileReferenceList.browse (), or the FileReference.download () method, most players will continue playing SWF files.
During calls to FileReference.browse (), FileReferenceList.browse (), or FileReference.download () methods, the execution of a SWF file pauses the standalone and external versions of Flash Player and AIR for Linux and Mac OS X 10.1 and earlier
Does anyone know what is meant by "external flash player"?
