Could you provide me comments on my Java game?

I posed this question as a community wiki, so I don’t throw any replica points.

I made this game, Forest Defender , a project of ineffective evidence that I would like to share with you and collect your constructive comments, first impressions, etc. This is the first playable (and enjoyable) game that I released to the public, so I naturally really want to get some recognition from you, like my peers. I read on the StackOverflow blog that

One of the main reasons we created Stack Overflow is to give every programmer a chance to be recognized by their peers. Recognized by their knowledge, their passion, [...]

It comes in the form of a Java applet, I used an animation framework called PulpCore, and I have to say that it was very nice to work with it. I recommend to people interested in developing Java games.

Since the product is free, funny, completely commercial, and I’m ready to share the code with it (upon request), I thought it would be normal to post it as a topic here. Moderators, please feel free to move this to another place if you think another place is more suitable.

EDIT

Has anyone else encountered a blue screen? Any bugs or problems? If so, which OS and version of Java are you using?

  • Entry / Exit on cards is not always obvious. Perhaps simple arrows will work, pointing to / from the game area.

  • It is not obvious that you need to click during the prompts.

  • Tooltip text over towers, traps, etc. might look better if all the data were justified

    Fast Tower

      Cost: XXX
    Damage: XXX
     Speed: XXX
     Range: XXX

  • We repeat the need for money / life, more obvious. Perhaps a permanent display that does not change regardless of the layout of the tower or tower.
