I am working on a web service that will use an SMS gateway to receive instructions from clients. Since this will be a commercial product, I would like to implement protection to protect our system from SMS passwords. I do not want people to personify others, dropping their number.
I noticed that Twitter allows people to tweet through text messages, how can they make sure that the messages are really real?
Is this possible, and if so, how to do it? Or should I ignore it and just deal with it through support if they go through.
