Cocoa Touch Best Practice to Capture / Log / Diagnose Failures

As I approach the release of my first publicly available iPhone app, I worry about field failures. I am curious to know how others have done this.

I am not sure what is possible outside of the debugger. Is everything lost with EXC_BAD_ACCESS, or can I still catch it and get something useful in the log? Is main () a place to host @ try / @ catch?

Here is the information I was looking for. I did not find it with a search, but saw that it was recently linked to another block.
