Are there any good books / videos / web guides for multithreading in win32? I just found a book Addison-Wesley - Multithreading Applications in Win32 (1996)and can order it soon.

Well, you can easily find a lot of reference materials and examples on MSDN in addition to many books on the subject:

• Win32 Multithreaded Programming Aaron Cohen, Mike Woodring
• Multi-threaded applications in Win32: a complete guide to topics from Jim Beveridge (he published several of them)
• Concurrent programming in Windows by Joe Duffy (already mentioned in another answer)
