Recently, there has been a problem launching some of our access reports. Last week (beginning of the week) we tried to run a report to call it A, and he continued to give us a login prompt. Even when the correct username and password have been entered, the login window will simply be displayed again until the cancellation is canceled.
I clicked on debugging and checked the request. Then I went into the database and it resets data from the same username and password and does not get any problems. Around Wednesday, A worked again, although nothing had changed. This week A works, but another report B does the same ..
Does anyone know what it might be? I think maybe someone else will open the report? Any help is appreciated. EDIT: I have narrowed down the error to one linked table that is causing the login prompt. It seems it has the DSN setup but no database specified. So i just need to relink the table..Is there anyway to do this at the GUI level? Also should I leave this question up for future users or just delete it?

Was there a login prompt from Access or from Windows? If from Windows, then I would say that there is some kind of permission to access files or a problem with access to the network. If from Access, then I would say that something in SYSTEM.MDW that you are using is corrupt or has been reconfigured.

If the login prompt is from ODBC, it probably means that the credentials that are used to access the backend database (for your comments you mentioned in SQL Server) are either invalid or disabled. (Or it may be as simple as the database database / temporarily unavailable).

Access SQL Server, , ODBC, , ODBC ( , , (ODBC)). .
