I was looking for a blue dragon , but cold did not find any useful information about what it is. What is a blue dragon? What is it used for and why is someone using it?

Blue Dragon is a CFML engine that runs on the .NET platform, created and maintained by New Atlanta . New Atlanta also previously created and maintained the Java port of its CFML engine, but released it as Open Source under the name Open Blue Dragon and open source GPLv3 in May 2008 . Open Blue Dragon is no longer supported by the New Atlanta, but is instead supported by a steering committee.
