Can anyone spare me these turbulent T4 template editors?

I use the Tangible editor and (no offense guys) it sucks. His one painful step is above the notebook. But his (afayk) is the only game in the city.

Does anyone have any advice on creating T4 templates painlessly?

For example, I am thinking of creating a T4 template, which essentially turns the class defined in the solution into a template generator.
