What configuration of NetBeans IDE in PHP leads to more productive development?

For example, I use Netbeans for PHP and started integrating PHPUnit and XDebug as part of my usual setup. What other plugins / modifications to Netbeans default settings may be more productive and useful.

My most used macro related to Ctrl -;

";" delete-previous caret-end-line ";" jump-list-last-edit jump-list-last-edit

This puts the semicolon at the end of the current line without moving the cursor

The two custom keymaps I use the most

  • Ctrl + PERIOD displayed in Select Line
  • Ctrl + COMMA to select a word
