Joomla, Drupal, DotNetNuke or something else for a sports club?

I am creating a website for a football club and I am wondering which CMS to use. I am a developer, but I do it as a service for a friend and rather take something with modules in it (registration, events, calendar, etc.). I need to set it up, but I looked around, and Wordpress is like a blogging tool. I am wondering if anyone has experience with the above or others, and if you can shed some light. Thanks

The main advantage of DotNetNuke is that you will program in .Net with all the tools that come with it. And db, of course, SQL Server.

So, if you are an MS guy, then DNN is a good option.

Day Of DotNetNuke is working in Europe this Friday, and we will show slides demonstrating how to use Telerik and sqlDataSource to build modules in minutes. They use Telerik grids to provide you with CRUD functionality in two simple files. Come to Paris if you are free, otherwise visit the site next week and you can get slides and some sample code, otherwise contact me and I will send them to you,

PS. Not sure why, but you will enjoy working with DNN.

Good luck and enjoy.
