Is it (width, height) or (height, width)?

Is there a convention for order (height, width) in function arguments or when displaying dimensions?

I don’t know a huge number of languages, but I used (width, height). This is more appropriate along the coordinate lines (x, y).

I would say (width, height) in the vast majority of cases. This never stops making it explicit, though (by naming arguments, etc.)
