Lack of White Box Testing?

Can you come up with any disadvantages of testing White Box - another thing that a tester needs to know and understand the code (which may have a cost)?

Thank,

This is both an advantage and a disadvantage, since you create your own tests to verify a specific implementation of the code instead of developing tests to verify how it will be used in a real situation. Thus, basically this is a drawback that does not catch all cases of use, so testing the black box is a good addition to the box.

Recent trends, such as test driven, agile, etc., are increasingly contributing to developer testing. Another step would be to connect the testing platform to unit testing. In this sense, the drawback of the white box would be organizational chaos caused by the changing role of people.
