Reflector problem when decompiling a WPF assembly (i.e. PresentationCore, PresentationFramework)

Question

I just downloaded the latest version of Reflector from RedGate, and I was unable to decompile classes in some of the main WPF assemblies, such as PresentationCore and PresentationFramework.

Ok, this is your problem (I know, because I had the same problem):

There are several assemblies that for some reason cannot be disassembled (as if they are empty). These assemblies (sorry, memory here) are in the Program Files directory somewhere.

You need to open the same assemblies, but in C: \ Windows \ Microsoft.NET \ Framework \ etc \ etc.

What is your version? I use 6.1.0.11 (apparently the last one) and I get the following:

protected override DependencyObject GetContainerForItemOverride()
{
    return new ListBoxItem();
}
