Many tips after upgrading to Eclipse 3.5

Question

I upgraded to Eclipse 3.5 and now tooltips are displayed for everything - for any field for any method for anything. The worst part is that they are displayed right after I moved the mouse (no delay!). Therefore, almost always I see some kind of clue, it is very inconvenient.

How can I increase the delay or disable hints?

You can choose what you want to enrich with a tooltip during hover using the settings:

Java > Editor > Hover

You can adjust the delay using the settings:

General > Editors > Text Editors > "When mouse moved into hover"
