Window.location with request restriction

   window.location = "/Home/GetCustomers?" + $('#myForm').serialize();
});

Is window.location used provided the size of the request is limited? For example, if my form has many options for serialization?

Window.location cannot be longer than any URL length restriction that a custom browser executes. It depends on the browser and browser; the shortest is Internet Explorer, which is 2083 characters long.
