I am working alone at the start of a significant open source project and would like to use some of Scrum's key ideas / methods to help manage my time and focus on developing and deploying early, obvious features. I would like to hear from others who have used Scrum alone and what you find particularly useful for these purposes. Thank.
You can take a look at Peter Bell's entry on Solo Scrum , including comments.

I tried grappling for one, and what worked well was to use the priority history cards (Sprint Backlog).
Also, going through the reflection process (retrospective), what did, did not work, can also be done alone and is useful.
