Apache Cassandra Suppresses Bandwidth Overruns

during testing Apache Cassandra, I inserted 1000 rows of data. I allow him to spread to another machine on the local network. This is a 2-machine cluster. I control the network connection between the two machines. The total data that I expected to flow between the two servers should be around 25 MB, including all column names, column values, and timestamps). But the actual data sent and received between them was a whopping 362 MB! Does anyone know why there is such an overhead? Thanks you

It is interesting. It is probably easier to understand what happens if you look at one operation at a time.
