Android: EditText with custom keyboard

I created my own custom keyboard following the example in sdk.

Now, I would like to use this default user keyboard in my EditText in my application (in fact, I need to click on edittext for a long time and then select mine custom keyboard).

How can i do this? (seems to be related to the inputType property, but I can't figure out how to set it)

Thank!

Have your users set their default keyboard? Applications have no control over this.

Try using the one PopupWindowthat contains the layout of your custom keyboard, place a pop-up window at the bottom of the screen, and handle the clicks of custom buttons on the keyboard yourself. Before doing this, disable the virtual keyboard.

For example, a popup can be checked: http://al1us.net/?p=131

use GRAVITY.BOTTOMin showAtLocation()function
