Help regarding android 1.5 and 2.1 (beginner, book release)

I am new to Android, and last year I bought two android 1.5 books . But at that time I was busy in my project, so I could not work on Android. Now I want to start android again. Should I go after these books or buy new editions Are there any major changes regarding basic knowledge? Two books that I have: -

Pragmatic Hello Android (A new addition to this book is available, but still in beta)

Apress launches Android (I don’t know if a new edition is available or not)

Please let me know. Thanks

EDIT here I am not asking about good android books, as there are many questions in this. I can learn from them. My question is exclusively about version change
