Page Separator in Kate Editor

PEP 8 says:

Python accepts the L control (i.e. ^ L) the feed form character as a space; Many tools treat these characters as page separators, so you can use them to separate pages from related sections of your file.

This seems like a great idea to me, but in a text editor I use (kate) "control + L" to save all the files. Does anyone have any solution?

... or am I losing something here?
