Scala Eclipse IDE suddenly ignores breakpoints

I have been using Scala 2.8RC1 and the Scala Eclipse plugin for 2.8 RC1 with pleasure for several days. However, last night, adding a couple of jar files to the environment (apache http client jars), the debugger simply stopped at breakpoints in the Scala code.

Java code stops at breakpoints. I tried to create a new Scala expression point, application breakpoints do not stop. I tried switching to sun-jre-1.6.0.20 from openjdk-1.6.18, which I used. I switched to Scala 2.8 night, as well as the eclipse plugin for Scala night buildings. Bad luck.

I am very grateful for the ideas for corrections. Rather disappointing, since the initial experience with 2.8 was really great.

Says that the scala eclipse plugin does not stop at breakpoints if you are a class in the default package (no package)

Adding a package and porting my class to it is getting the debugger to start working again.

You may have encountered a bug in the Scala tool for Eclipse. The best place to solve the problem is with the scala -ide-user list here,

http://groups.google.com/group/scala-ide-user

If you are already sure that you found a mistake, you can find instructions for opening here,
