How to backup data stored in Core Data - iPhone application?

I use sqlite for persistent storage, so can I just upload a .sqlite file like Amazon S3 to give users the ability to back up their application data? Then, to restore, simply download it and replace the existing .sqlite file in the application folder.

Anyone see any problems with this? Has anyone done this? Any other suggestions on how to implement the data backup feature?
