Python seems to support only 2 minor versions (e.g. 2.X), so that would mean that Python 2.5 would disappear when Python 2.7 came out (in June 2010?)
It is right? PEP 356 - The Python 2.5 release schedule does not provide many answers to this question.
Python 2.5 will continue to receive security updates until September 2011. See this post from Martin v. Löwis, Python 2.5 release manager.
