Qt4 2D Game Engine

Are there 2-D game engines for Qt4? I need a game engine that detects collisions and works smoothly with a lot of sprites on the screen.

Graphical representation QT has an integrated conflict detection system. You do not need a framework for this.

"The graphical view provides a surface for managing and interacting with a large number of customizable 2D graphic elements."

QGraphicsView is probably the best choice if you want to place many elements on the canvas. If your game does not contain too many objects (say less than 500), you can also consider QML aka Qt Quick (which will be released with Qt 4.7). In addition, QGraphicsView has great support in the Qt developer community, so many components are already available (for example, in libkdegames).
