I am looking for a small linux tool that can extract text from an odt file. It just needs readability and may have problems with complex objects, etc.
This is almost a duplicate of this question , but I need it to be small and not dependent on OpenOffice or X server
I remember that I had a 1 MB MS-DOS program that could make .doc files quite readable (with some weird markup accessing it from time to time), so I expect that this is also possible in the Linux world. )
